Groups
Group A – rating above 1950
Group B – 1750 – 2000
Group C – rating below 1800
3-day-events – open to everyone
When a player has both a FIDE and a National rating, the highest rating will determine the group classification. The rating list of July 1st will be decisive.
The organization reserves the right to deviate from the schedule if necessary.
Playing system and rate of play Groups A – C
Each group will play nine rounds using the Swiss system. In rounds 1 to 6, players may request up to two half-point byes.
The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 15 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment per move starting from move one.
Games start daily at 12:30, except on July 13th when games start at 11:00.
FIDE Laws of Chess apply, except for article 6.6a, which is replaced as follows: A player who is not present at the board within one hour after the scheduled start time loses the game, unless the arbiter decides otherwise for a valid reason.
Playing system and rate of play 3-round-events
Groups consist of four players with approximately equal playing strength.

Saturday, July 15: 10:30 – 11:30 – registration; opening 12:20
Saturday, July 5 – Saturday, July 12: 12:30- rounds 1 – 8
Sunday, July 13: 11:00- round 9, followed by prize ceremony.

Monday July 7: 10:30 – 11:30 -registration/registration, 12:30 round 1
Tuesday, July 8: 12:30 – round 2
Wednesday, July 9: 12:30 – round 3
Schedule 3-round event weekend
Friday 11 July: 10:30 – 11:30- registration/registration, 12:30 round 1
Saturday July 12: 12:30 – round 2
Sunday 13 July: 11:00 – round 3
Prize fund
The prize fund is guaranteed provided there are at least 220 participants in the open groups.

Rating
Results from the three open groups will be submitted to the KNSB and FIDE for rating calculations. Results from the 3-round events will be submitted to the KNSB for rating calculations.
Registration fee
Fees must be paid during online registration:
Group A – € 75 – (W)FM pay € 50; higher title holders no registration fee
Group B – € 65
Group C – € 65
3-round events – € 30
Youth players born in 2009 or later pay € 55 in the open groups.
Dutch players who are not members of the KNSB pay € 12,50 extra.
